Reviews
I got the Alaskan salmon with cashew kale, sweet potato, and watermelon. The food was delicious, but the restaurant pick up experience wasn’t great. My order took 10-15 minutes longer than promised on DoorDash.
I really enjoy Dig! They're a really convenient and consistent option for "fast-cas" in Center City that offers a good amount of variety when it comes to spices and sauces. Straightforward concept: pick your base + protien + toppings and sauce OR choose one of their menu options.
I usually go in later at night between 8 PM to 10 PM and the restaurant is always clean and still has plenty of options available. They also carry some of my favorite drink options like Spindrift seltzers and sparkling water. Staff is always very quick and pleasant!
I stopped by on a late Thursday night and had their Spicy Lime Leaf Salmon. This is honestly one of the best bowls I’ve had—- and I’m still dreaming about that sauce. Great for a quick and healthy meal.
Me and my friend were 5 HOURS into our shopping spree…until suddenly we felt the need to munch. We were originally looking for Chipotle, but they were closed! Ultimately we made a decision to try DIG, at first we were so confused on what to get, but chose the classic dig and salmon lime grille something. We were so pleased with our meal, it was BUSSIN. I was scraping up them rice kernels up with a fork and knife cause it was so good, no crumbs left. Thank you for feeding us 😩, and the guy that made the bowl for us….we luv u (not creepy)
Got food from DIG around 4:55 pm today. The bowl felt so light and when I saw it, there was a lot less food compared to usual. The stuffing base was extremely salty. Only got like 2-3 pieces of chicken. Wasted my $16.36
Wouldn’t recommend.
In general I don’t believe in buying food that I can make at home like this. Roast sweet potatoes, baked fish, and salad are nothing special and I generally have the philosophy that if I’m going to eat out it should be food I cannot make myself or would take too much effort to.
That being said the food is solid! If you’re looking for something quick and healthy then DIG is a great choice. The options are surprisingly flavorful considering. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed the food. Food isn’t greasy or bland, and if you’re vegetarian they’ve got some great choices. You can tell veggies are not an after thought in the menu which I really appreciate.
Their salmon is really good and it goes well with the kale Caesar. All in all if you’re out and about and looking for something fresh, healthy, and quick then this is a good spot.
This is what you get for a $5 side. It looks like less than half a sweet potato.
I see another review/photo from someone else below who also got take out and was surprised with very, very small portions. Our bowls were only half full like theirs We only had ~3-4 small bites of chicken in each bowl.
I don't care what my brother--who wears dark framed glasses and a brown winter coat--has been saying about this establishment. I think it is great and would not change a thing. Good portion sizes, very healthy, and delicious!!
